Fasteroids update (2018-08-14)
I've been working on Fasteroids on several fronts over the past few days (seemingly not making progress on a couple of those fronts - Ubuntu and MacOS X ports, but they're coming, even if it takes me awhile to figure out). I did make some progress on small things:
- When the UFO collides with any asteroid (or the player) it now blows up into little bits rather than disappearing completely.
- More random movement has been added
There's a lot of work to do, but between work and family there's not a lot of time except on weekends to work on Fasteroids... though a good part of this is also my own motivation and dedication. Things are progressing, but between learning GMS/GML/Sprite work/Audio, etc., etc., it's perhaps taking me a bit longer than it should.
I'll be posting this updated version of Fasteroids soon, hopefully with at least one port to another platform.
