The past couple of weeks have been really busy. I was trying to re-implement Drupal on freesoftshop.com but found the fresh install seemed to be crashing with a server 500 error intermittently. And while freesoftshop is more of a community-oriented site than this blog, I decided to switch to Wordpress on it. Wordpress makes a lot of tasks Drupal does much easier (however, I still think Drupal is much more flexible and powerful).

At the Waterloo Region Drupal Users Group meeting a couple of nights ago one of the group members brought up a very valid point about "contributing back to the Drupal community" that I think extends to a lot of other communities. What he said went something like:
